One of the things that drew me to science communication was the joy I experienced when presenting science. I gave talks and invited lectures at a variety of science conferences and also volunteered at an underprivileged elementary school to do science activities with the students.
I'm now an experienced public speaker, giving lectures to a variety of audiences, participating in panels, and leading workshops. I love captivating audiences with stories of science and adventure, and am also dedicated to helping students and scientists learn to better communicate their work.
